Really? How can assume that? There was no government for all here when the Europeans came here - it was a mish mash of many nations (one of them my ancestors). Although born in this country (hence a natural born citizen), I guess it would be hard for me to return to the land of my ancestors - that would include Wisconsin here in the U.S. (my Ojibway ancestors), Norway, England, and Germany....which one?

So, do you have illegal immigrants in your ancestry? If you trace all the way back on both sides, which lands do your ancestors come from? England has gone through many conquests. Or does conquest of a land not count when it's across the pond? :o) Does England allow everyone regardless of how they arrive, stay and receive citizenship benefits and work? Can I come?
