How can the iPad survive? I do not say this to be insulting but you must be joking. You are focusing entirely on technical specs and ignoring Apple's huge marketing strength and brand appeal. Nothing at all wrong with going with the product whose features you prefer, but at the macro level that is not how most consumers make their buying decision.
