For the first time in a long time, I added a new page from scratch today rather than just copying an existing one. Suddenly multiple errors appeared in my project (though not so sudden that I connected the dots immediately). The error stated

The type "X" appears in both "Y" and "Z".

Eventually I checked the web.config file and noticed that references to the old MM.2008 libraries had automatically been added alongside the existing references to the MM.2010 assemblies.

So I guess my question is, shouldn't my template pages be pointing at the new assemblies? Did I somehow upgrade incorrectly?
