>Do you watch Rubicon? What do you think about it? I have problems following it, I think it is way too slow for someone who recently adopted a dog and consequently sleeps few hours a day, thus I am constantly fighting not to fall asleep...
I *love* Rubicon (and of course I'm on for Mad Men). I always make sure to record it as well so I can watch it again without distraction or go back to a part I think i missed. This is why I like TV rather than movies because they have the time to tell a story. I agree it is not fast-paced and I'm careful who I recommend it to but it really is my kind of thing. ( though I find the violence in SOA pretty satisfying too <s> )
Charles Hankey
Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
