With WPF you may want to consider a study of the MVVM pattern. There are some pretty good resources out there for this and the binding will be a bit different but can be done easily within the Xaml. I am anxiously awaiting the full book by Gary Hall regarding WPF & Silverlight with MVVM. I currently have the first 5 chapters but it addresses this pattern directly.
