Download the developer edition and install it. No problem having Sql Anywhere and Ms Sql installed on the same computer. Looks like you can only get version 11 and 12 though. It is very easy to run the server on your own computer and it might make what you are doing very easy. The only issue you might have is once you find out how easy it is to use you will want to dump Ms Sql gd&r.
