You might want to look at articles on using VFP as a Remote OLE Automation Server...I am planning on having a look at possibly doing the same thing someday. I personally wouldn't do it for every bit of data access in our system, but for a few that retrieve large sets of data. But, I haven't done anything with it yet as I am busy doing other things...
