Truer words were never spoken.

I have to believe there is an inordinately large amount of bad FoxPro code. Not so much VFP, you kinda have to be a professional to develop in VFP, but there is still a lot of FoxPro 2.x code out there and it is seldom pretty. xBASE was intended to be accessible to power users and other non-professional developers. Often it shows. Little reuse of code, long convoluted code blocks, zero error handling. They actually were able to accomplish useful things but it was about as stable as a newspaper in a windstorm. And eventually the cry goes up -- we need a consultant! <g>
