That's a bit too much fandom IMO.

The Chargers made their choice. They kept Rivers and kicked Brees to the curb. So far it has worked out great for New Orleans. I could not be happier for him. I have been a Brees fan since he played at Purdue. They always said he was too short, even then, but he was doing things with the ball lots of pro QBs never learn. Altering the trajectory of the ball, things like that. He wasn't one of those guys who tries to drill it through the side of a battleship.

I also like it that he and his wife have embraced the city of New Orleans in its darkest hour. They live right in the city.
