>My client moved VFP database/tables to a new server. Client got a 'cannot resolve backlink' error. Couldn't find one of the tables. The table appears to be in the database. I tried to remove it. Got message which said can't find table, but it's trying to find the table on the OLD server. So I'm stuck. The table IS there because I can open it by itself. But I can't make the database happy by removing it and re-adding it because I can't remove it in the first place.

Before you try to get around VFP for this, from everything you say, it sounds like a path problem. Have you made sure that all the tables on the new server are located in the same _relative_ position to the DBC as on the old one?
