I read recently that Samsung in the near future will only offer one handset running windows. After using my Sprint EVO running on 4g service, I am not sure how important the PC will be in the home in the future. These new phones work just fine on email, facebook, twitter... so why have a PC. MS had better lookout or they are going to loose their monopoly.

With Android available from all carriers and multiple hand set manufacturers, it's easy to see why it will have such a large market share. The only other player in the US will be Microsoft. We'll see what they do with WinPhone7. Palm will be an albatross carried by HP.
