>>Wow... The E.A.P classic. Depending on the current mood either this or the Tell-Tale Heart were my favorites.

>You didn't set rant off :) I know what you mean. Bring back the classic rock era!

We are in agreement, sir. I was fortunate enough to come of age in the 70s and to be a rock DJ at the campus radio station. New wave and punk were just arriving on the scene and many of the classic bands were still releasing worthwhile new music. (I know they do it for the money but I hate geezers in their 60s and 70s still out there touring, playing the same songs they were playing 40 years ago). The Stones' "Some Girls," the Who's "Quadrophenia," and the Kinks' "Sleepwalker" come to mind. At the station we got promo copies of everything that came out, bands as diverse as the Sex Pistols, Talking Heads, The Dictators (the front man had one of the great names in rock history, undoubtedly fake -- Handsome Dick Manitoba), Patti Smith, on and on. The 60s and 70s were unquestionably the golden era of rock. With a few exceptions it has been downhill since.
