You think KC is going to beat The Browns !

Think about this : since 1999 the silly Colts have had only 1 QB and the Titans have only had 1 coach ! The Browns are starting QB *16* today. Pretty impressive, eh?

As to coaches, half the time we don't even remember their names (after extensive trauma therapy ) except that today we are facing a *former* coach who had our last winning season and since has been *promoted* to D coach of a 3rd rate team.

Be sure to watch at half-time when the "Ring of Honor" ceremony will honor our HOF players - most of whom are older than I am.

Jim Brown will not be attending as Holmgren booted his bitter, misogynist, angry, racist ass off the Randy Lerner gravy train.

ESPN just did a profile of Arian Foster. Very interesting guy. Wish him continued success.

>5 minutes until kickoff, here are Swami Jr's Week 2 predictions:
>
>Titans over Steelers (Titans will run all over the field)
>Vikings over Miami (though I'd love to see an upset)
>Atlanta over Arizona (booooriing)
>Ravens over Cincy (Ravens are my 2nd favorite team)
>KC over Browns (KC to start 2-0 for first time since 2005)
>Dallas over Chicago (look for the Cutler pic-six party to start)
>Philly over Detroit (though Swami Jr would love to see Vick get his clock cleaned)
>GB over Buffalo (could Buffalo go 0-16?)
>Carolilna over Tampa (only cause Tracy will be mad if I don't)
>Seattle over Denver (Swami Jr's upset pick)
>Oakland over ST Louis (look for Oakland to frustrate Sam Bradford)
>Houston over Washington (this will be a GREAT game)
>Pats over Jets (I'm really beginning to hate the Jets)
>SD over Jax (would love to see SD go 0-2, but I'm not sold on Jax)
>Colts over Giants (a Sunday night classic)
>Saints over 49ers (49ers are in disarray)

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
