We also replicate the event viewer log across the wire. But, since it cannot start, we cannot get the info needed to proceed. lol

I adjusted the GetDriveInformation() class to include another method which uses an old approach to get the drive serial number. The FileSystemObject() doesn't seem to choke at the Windows Service level. However, it doesn't return the same serial number as the ManagementObject(). So, I am trying to figure out that last part.

It is interesting however to see that I can get the serial number with this old approach but the new approach would require additional privilege, thus cannot be run as it from the Windows Service.
