>>I don't like Collinsworth voice. Instead of watching the Giants get torn apart tonight, I enjoyed a new episode of Mad Men and the premiere of Boardwalk Empire.

>Eh, you said about the last season of The Sopranos, too, and you were wrong then. The final episode was one of the best shows in TV history. A lot of people hated it because the ending was ambiguous. (Victor Anderson later posted an article arguing that the ending was unambiguous if you looked at the right things). I thought it was a great finale. In addition to having a fondness for ambiguity, I thought it perfectly captured the tone of the series. Loose ends were not always tied up, any more than they are in life. When the show was on I usually went on a fanboy/fangirl site to discuss the show. Often I just listened, believe it or not, because the comments were so insightful. The members were as diverse as young guys complaining that no bare breasts were shown at the Bada Bing or that no one got whacked, to a New Jersey judge who posted as Johnny The Gavel. There were also some industry insiders whose identities I guessed but never confirmed.

>The characters were shown doing despicable things but judgment was never passed. Even Tony, a mob boss who was often a lunkhead, was shown to be a complex person, especially in his conversations with Dr. Melfi.

>The only episode that really bothered me was "Long Term Parking" (spoiler below.....)

Really. The one that almost put me off watching it completely was the one where Ralph killed the woman outside the club. That episode really showed the characters in a much truer light.
