You could'nt wait ..


System restore: (in config: Start | Computer, RightClick | properties | System protection )
Each time an install or setup (or windows update) is done, a restore point is created (registry + changes in Program Files - I believe

So you can go back. (System restore is since Win98 or was it XP ?)

Alternatively - and better - you can create a system image before you install something significant

(I've done my share of sysem restore the last days - installing a new computer - It's a mess - Dell ship SSD drives, but forget to do te latest firmware upgrade )
