>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I've got an ASP.NET form with an mmGridView showing the many side of a one to many relationship between two tables. When a value in this grid is changed to one that causes a business rule to fail the error icon does not get displayed in the grid. How can I achieve this?
>>Frank,
>>I'm not sure how much difference there is with web forms. Once simple thing you might check for, though, is that the row with the error is scrolled off the viewing region. I have changed my biz rule logic to only check for rows that have been added or changed for tables that are edited primarily through grids. That way, it is more likely than not that the row with the error will be visible. I agree with Tim that editing through grids is not a good idea but sometimes you lose those fights with users and you just have to make it work. I hope this helps.
>>I do have some more complicated things that I have done to display the error message from a grid but I'm not sure if that would work on a web page.

Sorry but I have to ask, have you checked the spelling of the column name in your Rules Object?
