Excluding them from the project just keeps them from being bundled into the .exe the dbc, dcx and dct files still have to be distributed, and the dct file suffers from severe bloating every time you edit anything in there.

You can just start a new project from scratch. Add the main program to is and have it rebuild, it should put all the components back in. If the encrypt still plagues you you might try getting rid of your foxuser.dbf as a last resort.
