I don't know much about the case other than skimming that same article earlier today. It says she will be the first woman executed in Virginia in nearly 100 years, barring a last minute reprieve, which is does not sound like it's going to be forthcoming.

What strikes me as odd is that "the two triggermen" got life in prison and she got the death sentence. Evidently the courts decided her role in masterminding the plot was more serious than carrying it out.
