We are a medium sized business with a lot of medical type (PHI) data.
We are going to be programming in FoxPro and C# (Entity Framework).
We want to use reporting services.
I'm thinking that the encryption offered in Enterprise edition would be a good thing. Is encryption only offered in Enterprise edition?

What OS (Server 2003 or Server 2008) and which edition do you need to use for SQL Server 2008 Enterprise?

Any other advice?

Oh, yeah, we're still running on SQL 2000.
