And the article I saw in yesterday's paper indicated that she's borderline mentally retarded. Didn't provide enough info to back that up, but it certainly raises questions for me.

And those questions would be...?

There is no info to back it up. No medical professional ever stepped forward to make an argument or offer a diagnosis.

Teresa Lewis arranged the deaths of her husband/stepson to collect an insurance payout of a quarter of a million dollars, and offered sex and money to the men who carried it out. This woman may not have a great IQ, but she isn't dumber than a bag of hammers either. She went to bed with her husband but got up to unlock the door and put their pit bull terrier in another room. The two goons she hired came in and shot her husband and stepson. She is evil to the core.

I'll admit I have reservations about the death penalty when there is an issue of guilt. But that's not the case here. This woman got precisely what she deserved.

If there's a stunad in this case, it's her jackass lawyer saying, "a good and decent person is about to lose her life because of a system that is broken...tonight the machinery of death in Virginia extinguished the childlike and loving spirit of Teresa Lewis." Reading crap like that makes me think of Shakespeare's King Henry VI and his idea about what to do with lawyers.

Different but related note: just saw on CNN that another "good and decent person" will be getting a taste of justice.
