Last week I said MS would not make it in the phone market with WP7 because they won't support CDMA until mid 2011. That means it won't work on Verizon, the largest carrier in the US, nor on Sprint. This is just another nail in the coffin. If I were an MS shareholder, I'd be begging SteveB to stop throwing money into this area and just conceed it to Google. A few weeks ago I would have disagreed - but after hearing some things this past week, I can at least see why someone would reasonably conclude the same thing. I guess we'll see.
I am still a bit of a noob in the mobile market - and I have to admit, I REALLY like Android. It just plain works and works well. I'm still trying to understand the depth of the Android market - so far it seems a tad lighter than I initially assumed - but maybe I haven't come across all the big apps yet.
