The VFP command window? (as opposed to a Windows command window). If you get a VFP command window, VFP has started. The problem appears to be in the application. There are several causes of this in a VFP application. Do you have a main program which displays a form? Is the form's Show() method invoked? Best bet is to open the VFP debugger, set a breakpoint on the first executable line in the main program, and step through line by line.
