This is hilarious though when you think about it. No clerk or any government official has been sufficient to prove anything for any previous president. That's not official. Even had a judge read it, only the document itself proves anything, not someone stating they have read it. McCain had to provide the documents in 2000. Bush has to provide the documents for his military service. So did Quayle. You do remember all of that? The entire thing is silly, but Obama is not being singled out. I would love to have my friend the judge state I served all those years in the military because he had seen my official DD214 but the Veterans administration certainly wouldn't take his word of mouth - they would still require the actual documents.
