I have a VFP9 system that relies heavily on a few Active X controls that a client wants to access from three remote sites. The data is stored in DBF files, but I can pretty easily convert it to use SQL server if that would make this easier.

Has anyone used LogMeIn Hamachi VPN for allowing remote access to their applications over the internet?

Will this be fast enough access to DBF files, or do I need to look at using something like Terminal Services to run the application through the VPN?

Any problems with ActiveX controls in this set up?

Any and all advice welcome as I really have no idea on the best way forward :)
