I had very high hopes for the Task Pane Manager when it first shipped. I envisioned the various framework companies creating custom task panes. I played around for a while with a Task Pane that would centralize access to your Hentzenwerke books and let you see which ones you didn't have, as well.

Unfortunately, people didn't jump on that bandwagon.

I do like the way the Task Pane Manager presents the Solution Samples and open it to use that. I tend to use it to get to the Data Explorer as well (though you can run that separately).
