I'm not sure if any tablet I've seen to date has a LAN port so it could be a drawback across the tablet world.

It's a GUI layer that you can hide at will and get to the standard Win7 UI. For me, I can't imagine using the latter without a stylus though.

4hours minimum. Its not an inflated number like most others tend to say and the guys using the prototype are claiming its even higher in real world use. Did you look at the videos of real time use of the ExoPC? There are a lot of them on YouTube. Everything from bootup time testing to playing WOW on it and using Office and other apps.

It is available to pre-order world wide. You just need to join the forum to order it. The problem for you will be the higher shipping costs :)

If I'm not mistaken, you'll be able to boot off the USB. Not sure if that helps you there.
