>There is something new in VS 2010 which provides information in the form of tooltip as we type. This is really annoying. It avoids us from replacing our code pretty fast as this always gets in our face. There is certainly an option to turn that OFF. Is it?

Menu: Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> All Languages [or specific language] -> General -> Statement completion (uncheck autolist members)

then use CTRL+J when you want to turn it on...
