I have a few observations:
- Did the author look at SharePoint development? Where's C# support there?
- Co-evolution of the languages does not mean that all features and capabilities will be simultaneously released for each language. Many features will be introduced in one language before the other. There are things in there now that will probably never make it to the other language. (See XML Literals in VB)
- What group at MS created the language tools for WP7? I don't know, but it could be the phone team and not the languages team. Contrary to what many people think, MS is not a big shark, devouring it's prey. It's more like a bunch of pirhanas, where each group is feeding to satisfy itself. Sometimes what gets eaten is another pirhana.
