I have an OLE Container in a form linked to a Word document which works fine but doesn't allow the user to permanently change the Word document if required; Would it be better to use the Getobject function but how does this work - do you code it into a command icon (which I've tried but doesn't work). If you have

mbudvar = GETOBJECT(C:\WORD\BUDGET.DOC') where or how do I reference the mbudvar variable so as to actually launch the Word and access the document?
