At this point I have no idea on what the RDS costs are nor what the client is willing to pay. As of now is I have two companies recommending a solution, with that I will go to the client and discuss the options. I see two possible outcomes:

1. The client decides that RDS is the way to go and can afford it.

2. The client decides they cannot afford RDS but are willing to TRY the cheaper VPN solution. If so then they will be fully aware that it is experimental.

From your responses I guess you have been here before. I would appreciate it if you could expound a bit on what your experiences were.
