It is a good point. However, no matter the state of numlock on the PC, when the connection is closed, on the Laptop, the numlock becomes active. I also do not think that closing a connection should enable a numlock on the remote PC, no matter the state on the remote desktop. So, there is probably something else which is causing that. I looked at the Remote Desktop properties and was not able to find anything in regards to that.
