Interesting, we have a few in common.
Glory Road is (to me) a great movie. Some of the things that Don Haskins said to his players are still true today.
As for League of their Own, I agree on the Rosie O. comment, but I don't let it bother me too much. The way they did her character, even if you don't like Rosie (and I certainly don't), you can just sit there and laugh at her.
The relationships between the manager (Hanks) and Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) , between Dottie and her sister, etc, are what make the movie. I've watched it over and over again, and I think it's a terrific movie. I'm not a big Geena Davis fan, but I love her character in the movie.
Only movie on your list I haven't seen is North by Northwest, so I will try to check it out. Thanks.
And DAMN! I forgot "My Cousin Vinny".... I quote that all the time.
