> "Glengarry Glenross" (way too unchanged from the stage version IMO), or "Kill Bill". I thought Quentin Tarantino seriously lost his way there and has not recovered. He made two terrific movies and got a god complex. IMO, of course.

Glengarry Glen Ross is a frakkin' Mahmet play ! Why would you want to change anything? I figure that one qualifies just for the cast.

For those who haven't seen it :

Jack Lemmon
Al Pacino
Alan Arkin
Alec Baldwin
Jonothan Pryce
Ed Harris
Kevin Spacey

Kill Bill is visually one of the coolest things I've ever seen and Tarantino's homage to every movie/comic book genre (mostly Japanese) he really respects. Like it better than Pulp Fiction even.

We definitely share being a big fan of Usual Suspects.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
