It would be difficult to make movies like books.
Orson Scott Card once told me that Ender's Game would never be made into a movie because they couldn't do all the special effects that were needed. That was years ago. The technology has changed. He's tried several times to get it made, but nothing's happened yet.
I agree. The Firm is a great movie.
