Yes, it seems to make a big difference. So far, for the entire day, on two surfaces, the mouse has been performing well. I don't know why but something was conflicting on the back. Maybe an unshielded cable was in effect. I have one going in the basement for the subwoofer and that could have caused it.

Yes, they do have a lot of issues. I have read some of them and we can just hope they will have something better soon.
