You also need to make sure all hubs/switches/routers on the network are connected to good UPSs. A power failure at on of those can corrupt just as easily as a power failure at a workstation or server.

It may surprise you to see how many hubs and switches don't have power protection in small businesses.

Of course. One is only as strong as your weakest link. =)
