You must have started with VFP *s* FoxPro used to do a whole lot of readable code generation. The menu design is stored in the MNX and MNT files, when you Generate the menu (or the project builds) it creates the MPR which gets compiled to the MPX file. The FP2.X forms used to go through the same long drawn out process.
