The latest/greatest build for VFP5 is 415 that's what you get after applying the Service Pack 3.

I've never seen the DE do the things you are seeing. It's possible that corruption of the memo file for the form is causing it. Are you using any other programs that modifies your .scx/.sct tables directly? Sometimes you can get open dialogs if you have a pathing problem.

Sometimes, at design time I could see the tables in the data environment, but when running the application Visual Foxpro is prompting me to select the tables and sometimes, at design time I could not see any tables at all. I am currently running verion 5.0a Build 402, could that be the problems?
