>How are things 'up north'? I miss being able to get together with you Canadians at user group meetings!
Same old, same old. Not a lot of new blood as far as I can tell. We're having a social get-together for our user group AGM on October 25 - you're welcome to join us if you'd like to drive to Burnaby for a burger and beer :)
> I think the problems with ??? had more to do with 2X in our situation than anything else. However, I doubt that this command will continue to work on Windows 7 or Windows 2008 Server so will definitely need to come up with an option sometime early in the new year. It sould be possible to CopyFile() to the queue I think. Haven't tried it, largely because I don't have remote access :-)
As far as print queues are concerned I don't think there's a lot of difference between say, XP and Vista/7/Server 2008/R2. A bigger concern is that most new hardware is being loaded with 64-bit Windows, which natively won't run 16-bit 2.x at all. You can set up a VM and load a 32-bit OS on it to run Fox 2.x but that's definitely legacy behaviour.
