I remember the first time I saw El Topo and went to a friends house afterwards thinking I sure hope he doesn't ask me what it was about. That movie covered the entire history of humanity in 2 hours, it gave me a headache just taking it in the first time I saw it. The only description I could ever come up with for it was, "A surrelaistic western." I own the DVD and watch if often, I get something new from it everytime.
