Ummm... did this happen while they were still in the app, or when they tried to restart it?

What was the tmpfiles: designation? Could it be they were running this in a some environment, where they'd be assigned a C: drive, with a temp folder on it, which would go away when the user disconnects (and for some reason VFP reported the path from the PJX instead of the path it was actually looking for)?
