>LOL ... yep, funny! Actually, we had a good reason at the time. Our company had been bought by another company 2 years prior (in 2000) and then they closed the Yakima office in January 2002. We could either move to Maryland, or quit. Some of us quit and started a new company, but the product we were going to develop was going to be new, next-gen stuff. We didn't want the old company accusing us re-writing their old Fire Records Management Software, so we were adamant about NOT using VFP like the old RMS was written in. .NET certainly qualified as "next-gen" ... and the rest is history. <g>
