Tuned out so much pop music in that period I can't even tell you what punk is. ( aside from the Sex Pistols who should have been euthanized ) I find loud, 3 chord, high-feedback adolescent testosterone preening so distasteful I don't want to just silence it, I want to kill it. All brag and swag.
I know that somebody once tried to intersest me in The Ramones and I was horrified.
Don't know the Modettes so I'll seek them out.
