I agreed with that last season and was pleased to see Boise State and TCU do well in the bowls when they got a chance to play against the best from the so-called major conferences. And I don't think the overall gap between the majors and the so-called mid-majors is nearly what it used to be. It's just looking at most of the teams Boise State has beaten this year, it's hard for me to fathom ranking them #1.

>And why not. BSU beet the Ducks twice in the last two years. They have beet OSU,Oklahoma, TCU, Utah, BYU in the past. The problem BSU has is the big schools will not agree to play them. The big schools are afraid that the smaller schools are going to break into they money train.
