TCU and BSU both have the same problem. The strength of schedule is used as an excuse for blowing them off. And when they do get a chance to play a good school and win then the excuse is that was last year and does not count. I would really like to see how they stand up against the big boys. I think it would be a good game to watch. James, last season, Boise State beat Oregon in the first game of the season....Oregon was never ranked higher than Boise State, even after Oregon went on a run in mid-season and beat USC. So I don't think BSU was jobbed. (I agree that BSU and TCU would do well in a power conference)
Again, what happened last year has no bearing on the BCS.
I see that the Sooners are #1 in the BCS and Oregon #2 (despite the fact that Oregon is #1 in the Harris, AP, and USA Today Poll).
I think it's silly to get wrapped up in the BCS poll under closer to Thanksgiving. Oklahoma has to go to Missouri and play an undefeated Missouri team, and they still have to play a good Baylor team, and they still have to play Oklahome state...ALL 3 ON THE ROAD
Meanwhile, Oregon has to play a good UCLA team, they still have to play USC and a ranked Arizona team, and they still have their Civil War game against Oregon State. Meanwhile, Boise State has very little serious competition the rest of the way. So much can still happen.
