I have been experiencing the exception error C0000005 ever since the my first copy of VFP 6.0 which I receiving at DevCon. Although some instances of this crash have gone away, I still get them with the current release.

One of the many ways that I can repeately crash VFP 6.0 is by doing the following:

1. Take any ASCII file and set its attributes to read-only.
2. Open the file in VFP by issuing a MODIFY COMMAND NOEDIT
3. Select all text in the file. Ctrl-A
4. Now click the left mouse button anywhere on the selected and attempt to
drag the contents.

That is all you need to do to throw VFP 6.0 into a crash.
