>Decided the best way to munge csv files I'm getting Adobe pdf exports is the Fox, but I'm running into problem with memo-type files Adobe is exporting that contain chr(10)+chr(13).

Urrgh - I've been typing with my head lately on occasion on similar problem - "importing" host DD from the PDF's generated by always slightly different word tables and makros. Tried a lot from exporting into word, exporting into excel, OCR'ing fineprinted output... but in the end went with copying structured elements (up to 4 in each document into single .txt or xls depending on PDF internal structure, importing all those .txt into a cursor with a memo feld as first record and building a pattern for the different types of "real CR" found in the data aggregating line info into another memo field. Cursor helped me get a better picture when I was adding up multi-line fields based on characteresitics inherent to the text - could have been done on strings alone...
Piping that info into the other files worked. Not even homely, but the only thing without issues (for instance sometimes the PDF showed data all right, but in exported data the data was corrupted). Takes time to copy out manually, but that was a one time task and gave me the leverage to kick word templates by always refining the code to import<g>.

Actually, I hope for you that this WON'T help - meaning that you can go another way ;-)
