Once when we were in Lyon, he ordered it and the waiter, knowing that we were Americans (from my lousy accent, not Gary's ... he *sounds* French), said "you understand that that is raw meat", just to be sure. I'm guessing other non-French patrons who didn't know that, changed their minds (like Tracy would <g>).
