can anyone point out what I'm missing here please. I have a memo field NW2_M20 in the table with alias NW2 but this code does not work.
sele NW2
if "A1A" $ upper(NW2_m20)
STRTRAN(NW2_m20,"A1A","")

The code gets into the if statement but the STRTRAN code does not remove the text A1A, there is only 1 instance of A1A in the memo field.
